In Bloom bulb planting drive a success

THE Royston in Bloom committee will carry out a planting shortly after a successful fundraising drive.

Its sponsor-a-bulb stall at Royston market encouraged members to sponsor bulbs for 50p each and suggestions can be made as to where they will be planted.

Committee chairman Les Baker said: “Even in these difficult times people have yet again been generous in sponsoring bulbs.”
