It’s not often a camper van-turned-stage pitches up in the centre of town, but that’s exactly what will be happening today as part of Royston Arts Festival.
Half a dozen buskers will perform on the Camper Stage – a purpose-built transit van that converts into a performance stage complete with solar powered lights and speakers – from 9am until 3pm.
The busking event is being supported by Royston First Business Improvement District, and town manager Geraint Burnell said: “We consider the twin attractions of the market and a busking event to be worthy of an appropriately professional stage. Hopefully plenty of local residents will come on down and take a look.”
