Five cadets from 2484 (Bassingbourn) Squadron, together with Sgt Demi Kyprianou, spent the day flying in RAF Grob Tutors.
Cadet Nikki Spong said: "It was an amazing and unforgettable experience."
This was just one of the opportunities that cadets have to fly during the year. These range from aerobatics in the new Grob Tutor aircraft, to flying civil aircraft or fast jets such as the Red Arrows.
Martin Stamp, of the 2484 Squadron, said: "In general, every cadet will be given opportunities to fly during their time as a member of our squadron."
