HEROIC service men and women were honoured at a charity lunch at which over �8,000 was raised.
The lunch took place at South Farm, Shingay-cum-Wendy where over 140 guests were joined by officers from Bassingbourn barracks, who recounted their experiences in Afghanistan.
A total of �8,211.38 was raised, and has been donated to the Forces' charity Help for Heroes.
