A THIRD hangar dance is being planned at Bassingbourn Barracks.

And this year's event will coincide with the 65th anniversary of the Memphis Belle completing its 25th mission.

Organiser Chris Murphy said: "The fact we have the Memphis Belle an-niversary makes the event more poignant.

"The dance will be in the hangar which was actually used by the Memphis Belle."

And to add to the theme, the Memphis Belle Swing Orchestra will be returning for the dance on Saturday, June 7.

"Last year we had a marvellous night and we are, obviously, hoping for the same again," added Mr Murphy.
