Residents in Royston were running for cover earlier this afternoon (Friday) during a hail storm.
This picture sent in by Crow reader David Hatton shows a deserted Royston High Street at the corner of John Street as the hailstones came down at around midday.
Gordon Chambers, who lives in Royston, also got in touch following the storm.
He said: “That was a serious hailstorm we just had in Royston! I’ve never seen any as big as the hailstones in my garden in all my life!”
