THIS year's Guilden Morden Village Show is going green.
The theme for the show on Saturday is recycling - and events revolve around the environment.
A spokesman said: "With so much concern about the environment, we thought it was important to highlight the issues and encourage recycling."
In the produce tent, there will be several recycling categories, including best jar of home-made compost, and best greeting card made from scraps, while the childrens' categories include items such as Make a Junk Man, and jazz up an old T-shirt.
The show will open with the children's grand parade, led by the Electralites majorettes.
The Electralites will be putting on a display in the main arena, as will Cambridgeshire Fire Service and Double Take, a barber's shop quartet.
Proceeds from the show will be donated towards the refurbishment of the village hall.
