A new affordable housing scheme is set to bring 15 homes to a village.
Planners have given the green light to a scheme which would see 15 houses built on land adjacent to Hurdleditch Road in Orwell.
The plan is for a mixture of two and three bedroom houses and bungalows. Some of these will be available for shared ownership, while others will be put up for rent.
South Cambridgeshire district council housing officers supported the plans, and at a meeting of the council’s planning committee, held on Wednesday, councillors gave their approval.
A new open space with play equipment will be constructed as part of the scheme
