There have been delays on the Great Northern line due to a broken down train between Stevenage and Hitchin.

Some northbound services on the Great Northern line were blocked this morning due to a broken down between Stevenage and Hitchin.

Trains have been delayed by up to 10 minutes as a result of the blockage.

Update 9.01am: Initially it was being reported services were not expected to return to normal until 10.30am, but @GNRailUK has tweeted to say services through Stevenage and Hitchin are no longer affected.
