Fire on Great Northern line blocks trains from Stevenage to Cambridge

All train lines between Stevenage and Cambridge are currently blocked because of a fire.

At about 1pm, Great Northern tweeted: “Due to a lineside fire, all lines between Stevenage and Cambridge are curently blocked. Services to and from Peterbourgh are currently unaffected.”

This paper is awaiting further updates from the line operator Govia Thameslink and Network Rail.
