A GRAFITTI artist last week showcased his skills while helping a Royston youth project understand the impact of illegal street art.
The Crow-sponsored We’d Rather Say Hello! is a multi-agency scheme which aims to challenge the stereotypes of young people.
Last Thursday the young people, all aged between 13-17, worked with a community artist from Demagraffix to create street art while being taught about the cost, risks and consequences of creating graffiti without permission.
Many more projects are planned for what is left of 2011 and next year.
A planned visit to the Queensway sheltered housing project is scheduled for late December.
