It seems the positive energy of the Royston Summer Rock event is still burning through the town after a local charity benefited from a fundraising boost.

Representatives from The Nicola Emmerson Trust visited Premier Travel in the High Street earlier this week to receive a cheque after staff held a raffle during the one day festival.

Thousands of people turned out to enjoy the festivities at the Royston Summer Rocks and Summer Soul To The Square event earlier this month.

The summer rock event saw a mix of stalls, live bands and tasty food.

The summer soul party was not to be missed as people boogied on down to a host of live music acts in the square.
