A VETERINARY surgery should be up-and- running on the outskirts of Buntingford before Christmas.
The Woolpack veterinary surgery, which has been based in Reed for the past 18 years, will be relocating to the site of the disused Little Chef on the A10 bypass.
Members of East Herts District Council's development control committee gave the go-ahead for the plan on Wednesday evening.
The new practice will have four consulting rooms, two operating rooms, a prep room, an X-ray room, a laboratory and recovery kennels.
Surgery owner Rosemary Hobson said: "We are delighted. It means our surgeries will be faster moving with all the facilities on site.
