ARTISTS from Foxton will be exhibiting their work at the village hall this weekend.

The annual exhibition raises money on behalf of the Friends of Foxton School to provide the children with facilities and activities.

Noleen Brady, one of the organisers, said: "The aim of these exhibitions to display and sell quality works of art from prominent local artists in a village setting. The exhibition was originally held in the old school building and was a successful, annual event. When the school moved premises, the exhibition disappeared for a while.

"Since its reinstatement, the exhibition has not only raised in excess of 7,000 for the school," she said.
