MEMBERS of Royston and South Cambs Home-Start enjoyed an afternoon of fun and games at Royston Leisure Centre.

A bouncy castle and a host of toys were on offer to the young families who attended.

Staff at the leisure centre also organised parachute games for the children.

Wendy Gypps, co-ordinator of Royston and South Cambs Home- Start, said: "This is the first time we've been able to use the facilities at the leisure centre and it's been a real success.

"Not only do the children have fun, but it's also a good way to get them and their parents socialising."

Home-Start is a charity providing support for young families through group activities and home visits.

The Royston and South Cambridgeshire branch currently support 88 families, and is looking for volunteers to help at family support groups which are held in Royston and Cambourne.
