BRILLIANT businesses from Crow Country are being encouraged to enter this year's Royston Business Awards, which launch this week.
The Crow is proud to present the 2009 Royston and District Business Awards, being held in association with the Royston and district Chamber of Commerce.
This year's glitzy awards ceremony will take place on Thursday November 19 at the Banyers Hotel, in Royston, and organisations can enter any of the ten different categories on offer via the link on our website, www.roystoncrow24.co.uk.
Last year saw insurance firm Saffron Insurance scoop two prizes, winning the Business of the Year award for "continuing to be successful in the face of competition from national and international insurance brokers," while office manager at the firms Royston branch, Sharon Windebanke, was given the Employee of the Year gong for her "attention to detail and commitment to customers."
Saffron has already signed up as a sponsor for this year's event, along with other local companies including Johnson Matthey, Royston Tesco, WKH, The Stationery Cupboard, Barclays Bank, and Meridian Line Travel.
Tickets for the event, which will begin with a sparkling drinks reception followed by a three-course meal, will go on sale from October 1, at a cost of 25 plus VAT. Sponsorship opportunities are also still available.
