A TEUTONIC trip was last week undertaken by nearly 30 members of the Royston and District Twinning Association, including the town’s mayor.
The European cultural exchange took the Roystonians to Grossalmerode, Germany, where they were “greeted like long lost friends” although hold-ups on European motorways led to the party being delayed.
Among the events organised were a trip to one of the country’s biggest museums, Gttingen, and a hog roast – which featured bratwurst.
Representatives from the central German town are expected to visit Royston next autumn.
