Generous Royston shoppers help Bassingbourn cadets bag £1,000

Cadets from 2484 (Bassingbourn) Squadron have been bag-packing at Tesco in Royston to raise funds for the squadron and the John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation.

The bag pack is an annual event, with Tesco lending its support once again.

Cadet Sgt White said: “It’s great to see so many cadets here.” Instructor Rowson-Brown added: “It’s amazing that people are so supportive.”

The customers of Tesco generously donated £1,000 and praised the group’s efforts.
