THOUSANDS of people turned out in the sunshine for this year's Royston May Fayre.

They enjoyed arena events which ranger from the Kangaroos gymnastic team to the Electralites dance group to the Royston Fire Cadets.

Hundreds, too, visited the annual classic car show that had been set up in the Royston Town Hall car park.

"The whole event was a real success," said Royston's town clerk Susan Thornton-Bjork.
