Pancake flipping teams made sure they went the distance on Saturday morning for Royston’s annual race.
Seven teams of four demonstrated their tossing expertise in the pancake relay course on Priory Memorial Gardens.
Royston Rounders – whose team consisted of Vicki Ross, Lisa Bearpark, Paul Skerry and Owen Simons – came out on top, with Rotary Club of Royston in second and Trinity Life Church in third.
Organiser Ken Charles said: “The pancake race has become something of a tradition over the years.
“Everyone seemed to enjoy taking part and, of course, it helped raise money for Challenge, the parish church’s fundraising scheme to meet the cost of creating more space in the church.”
