Daffodil festival attracts thousands
THOUSANDS of people visited the 40th Thriplow Daffodil Festival at the weekend.
Organiser Lynne Turner said that weekend was "a great success" despite the rain on Sunday.
Attractions throughout the weekend included heavy horses giving dray rides, a birds of prey demonstration from the Raptor Foundation, Molly dancers and May Pole dancing.
"We've had some lovely e-mails from people saying how much they enjoyed the weekend," said Lynne.
"It makes it all worthwhile when people say they had a good time.
