CHRISTMAS came early for Royston with a variety of seasonal stalls and festive fun on offer in the town at a special event.
The Christmas Carnival saw a gift market and fair selling a variety of goods, with Father Christmas and some young reindeer also pulling a crowd in the town centre the weekend before last.
Charities also had a chance to shine after setting up shop in Angel Pavement.
Music was provided, among others, by the Salvation Army and Royston Town Band.
The event was organised on behalf of the town council and Royston First by town centre manager Geraint Burnell and markets manager Emma Burgess.
