Three brothers have announced they are to throw their third annual charity golf day in Royston this summer in a bid to help sick children.

Tom Hanson, from Therfield, will join up with his Royston-based siblings James and John for their third fundraiser, and the trio hope to raise even more cash for children’s services at Addenbroke’s Hospital in Cambridge.

Tom told the Crow: “We are delighted to confirm that after the huge support and interest we will be holding our third Hanson Services Charity Golf Day on July 13, and the challenge is to beat our previous total from last year – £22,500.

“We welcome anyone to help in any way they can to help our local children’s wards have additional equipment and capabilities to support our young loved ones.”

They can register 23 groups at the event so if you would like to play at Royston Golf Club, let Tom know by emailing info@hansonservices.co.uk. Companies that would like to sponsor the event or donate auction prizes should also get in touch.
