IT WAS full steam ahead on Saturday when model railways of all shapes and sizes chugged into Crow country.
The Royston and District Model Railway Club held its annual exhibition at Bassingbourn Village College, and the event attracted 28 different layouts as well as trade stands and modelling demonstrations.
Tony Clarke, chairman of the club, said: “It was the best exhibition we’ve had for years. It’s the first time we’ve been at Bassingbourn Village College, so we didn’t know how many people would come along, but we were absolutely snowed under.”
