Pre-school children enjoyed a day down on the farm on Friday.
The youngsters from Therfield pre-school visited Bury Lane fruit farm near Melbourn, accompanied by a group of parents and grandparents.
Leader Tina Downing said: “We enjoyed a visit to the chickens, strawberry picking – and nibbling – then an extended play in the play barn followed by a packed lunch in their party room.
“We would like to thank Bury Lane for their generosity in providing us a morning that was loved by all of the children, with lots of fresh air followed by physical play which gave the parents a peaceful afternoon.”
