A Fowlmere woman whose daughter tragically died of kidney cancer at the age of just four years old is holding a fun tea party to raise money for charity.

Angela Mulholland’s daughter Eilish passed away in October, after enduring multiple sessions of chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, and on her journey she collected precious beads to represent each round of treatment.

Angela said: “Eilish loved collecting her beads, and they make such a motivational difference to all cancer and chronic illness sufferers, representing their brave journeys.

“We are fundraising to maintain the Beads of Courage at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge in Eilish’s memory, through the Be Child Cancer Aware Charity who support the programme across 76 hospitals in the UK.”

The Fun Tea Party will be held next Sunday, September 27 from 11am until 3pm at Fowlmere Village Hall. Tickets are £12, and can be bought by donating to the justgiving page www.justgiving.com/EilishsTeaParty.

The price includes face painting, a craft activity, a sandwich and cake, A MAD Science Show and a party bag to go home with.
