FOUR men have been charged with attempted burglary and interfering with a motor vehicle after an incident in Royston.
It occurred in the early hours of Friday morning (July 29) just after 2.30am, where it is alleged four offenders attempted to break into a house in Byron Road, Royston before they were disturbed by the householder and made off from the scene.
Officers from the ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) Intercept Team stopped a vehicle near Buntingford after it was flagged up by an ANPR camera.
Four men in their late 20s have been charged with attempted burglary and with interfering with a motor vehicle, and have been remanded in custody.
