YOUNG footballers have been delivering dough to make their club some, er, dough.
Melbourn Dynamos under-sevens delivered more than 1,000 doughnuts to businesses and schools in Royston, Cambridge, and Stevenage last Friday as part of their 2010 fundraising challenge.
The idea was the brainchild of coach Craig Stalker, right, a Year 9 pupil at Bassingbourn Village College.
A spokesman for the club said: “It was a fantastic effort and more than �300 was raised for the club. Many thanks to everyone who supported the event and enjoyed their delicious doughnuts!”
