Five men have been arrested after power tools and gardening equipment were snatched from sheds and outbuildings.
The 16 burglaries took place in Barley, Barkway and Therfield, near Royston between August 1 and September 24.
Police arrested the men on October 1 on suspicion of burglary. They are a 21 year old man, of no fixed abode, a 24 year old man and a 23 year old man, both from Cromer and a 53 year old man and a 22 year old man, both from Isleham.
They have all been released on police bail while investigations continue and are due to return to Stevenage Police Station in December.
