Five arrested after noise complaint assault


FIVE people have been arrested following an assault on a man after he a complained about a noisy party.

The attack took place between 3.45-4am on Sunday morning at the entrance to Charding Crescent, Royston.

A police spokesman said: “He went down to ask a group of people to stop making excessive noise and an assault has occurred, but no injury was caused.”

Four males and a 19-year-old woman from Royston were arrested and they have all been released on bail.
