FIRE-FIGHTERS cut an injured man from a car following an accident on the A10 in Melbourn.

Two crews from Cambridge and one from Royston were called to the accident near the Country Home and Garden shop, where they found a man trapped in a Vauxhall Astra in a ditch.

Fire-fighters removed the roof of the vehicle to free the man, who was treated by ambulance crews at the scene before being taken to hospital.
