FIRE experts are still investigating the causes of a fire in which an elderly couple died.   The fire gutted the couple s home at Royal Oak Close in Chipping on Thursday morning (December 14). The victims were Denys and Muriel Winsor, both in their 80s.

The fire gutted the couple's home at Royal Oak Close in Chipping on Thursday morning (December 14). The victims were Denys and Muriel Winsor, both in their 80s.

Four fire crews from Buntingford, Royston and Baldock, were called to the scene.

Police are carrying out an investigation, but at the moment the cause of the fire is unclear.
