The fire, in a barn at Thrift Farm, Royston started just after midday on Friday.

Nine fire crews attended the scene and fire-fighters spent 12 hours trying to extinguish the flames.

A spokesman for Herts Fire and Rescue Service said that the cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious.
