NINE iconic Ferrari sports cars captured the attention on Sunday morning.

The vehicles stood in Market Hill as crowds gathered to admire the workmanship and, perhaps, be a touch envious of the owners.

The sports cars on display included a Ferrari 328, Ferrari 360 Spyder and a Ferrari 512 Boxer.

The vehicles belonged to members of the Ferrari Owners' Club.

The display was part of the Italian Market which, as usual, attracted large crowds to the market square.

The market, itself, had the usual stalls, ranging from bread and cheeses to pasta and sauces.
