THE Italian Market is set to return to Royston on Sunday - and there will be new products on display. These include home-made soaps, Sicilian oranges and lemons and Italian salads. There will also be a major wine display. And there will be the usual stalls packed with pasta and sauces, olive oils and vinegars and cheeses and cured meat. Town centre manager Geraint Burnell said he expects the Italian stallholders to put on "an exciting display". "It's good to see new products and vendors being added each time the Italian market comes to town," he said. Mr Burnell said that changes in the licensing laws means the market can display the widest variety of wines from Europe. The market will run from 10am to 4pm in Market Hill. - The next farmers' market will be on Friday, April 7 at Royston Town Hall from 9.30am to 1pm After May, the forum plans to expand the market and hold it in the town centre on a Sunday. - This year's children's Easter chocolate trail will be taking place on Sunday, April 15 from 10am to 12.30pm. Twelve chocolate bunnies will be hidden in shop windows and children will be able to search for them, record the name of the shop where they are found and hand in an entry form listing the locations. The prize draw will take place at the Corn Exchange at 12.30pm.
