FAULTY barriers at a level crossing have caused delays to trains through Crow country this morning.
The barriers at the Harston level crossing became stuck in the down position, meaning traffic was unable to cross the line.
Network Rail were alerted to the problem at 11.16am, and trains passed through the area at a slower than usual speed while the problem was repaired.
Train operator First Capital Connect said there will be some residual delays this afternoon, but that a normal service would resume in the next few hours.
