FARM workers at an agricultural show were shocked to find an illegal immigrant hiding inside farm machinery.

The man, believed to be from Afghanistan, was hiding in a tank at the Cereal 2007 event at Vine Farm in Wendy.

But police told workers to let the man go because they were too busy to attend.
