The Friends of St Mary’s Catholic Primary School have organised a family fun day which included bouncy castles, a visit from a fire engine and art and craft activities.
On the day there was also a dance display by Lyndsey Britton’s School of Dance.
Headteacher Mrs Pearce said: “Everyone had a great time and we would like to thank all of those who came to join us and also all of the volunteers who gave up a lot of their time to organise such a wonderful event.”
The fun day raised £1,500 which will go towards resourcing the school’s new outdoor classroom.
