A FAMILY Archaeology Fun Day will be taking place at the Royston & District Museum on Saturday. Events during the day will include the opportunity to learn about different archaeological techniques and see the progress of arts and crafts through the ages.

A FAMILY Archaeology Fun Day will be taking place at the Royston & District Museum on Saturday.

Events during the day will include the opportunity to learn about different archaeological techniques and see the progress of arts and crafts through the ages.

The day will also include archaeological displays.

This will be the third event of its kind at the museum.

Museum curator Carole Kaszak said: "The event was a success last year and we are hoping to attract even more visitors on Saturday."

The event will run at the museum from 10am-4pm.
