ON a warm morning Bassingbourn and Sawbridgeworth fought out a very entertaining 1-1 draw to maintain both sides' unbeaten league starts.
On 20 minutes Jordan Townson opened the scoring for Bassingbourn with a fine finish and the home team were unlucky not to go two ahead when a Tom Bromilow shot came back off the post.
Half Time came with the score 1-0 but 15 minutes into the second half Sawbridgeworth were level with a fine strike from the edge of the area.
