Thieves attempted to break in to a Royston charity shop overnight.
The incident happened at Age UK in Church Lane between 5.30pm yesterday and 8.30am this morning.
Police reported that offenders were unable to gain access so nothing was taken.
Anyone with information should call 101 quoting crime reference number G4/16/806.
