FORMER Crow columnist Dennis Kenzie (above) has died.

Dennis, who edited Children's Corner in The Crow from the late 1960s until 1976, died at his home in Victoria, Canada.

He moved to Canada after being offered a job with a printing company.

After an initial trial period, he decided to emigrate with his family, first living in Fort Erie, and then moving to Toronto, Vancouver Island, and finally Victoria.

Before leaving Royston, Dennis worked for Irvine Air International, where he assisted with the design of barometric instruments for aircraft.

He was also a keen artist, who specialised in painting water colours, and contributed illustrations for two books.
