A PENSIONER who waited more than three months for repairs to his solar heating system has finally had a visit from an engineer.
In our exclusive story last week, William Dennis Parker, 76, who lives with his 100-year-old mother, of Flambards Close, Meldreth, told The Crow how he had called Poole-based com-pany Ultimate Energy 58 times in three months to try and get his solar heating system working.
An engineer arrived on Tuesday and worked for three hours on the system.
A cautious Mr Parker said: "I won't know for a couple of days yet if it is fixed.
"You need to let it run for a bit, you see."
And in the event that the problem has not been fixed, Mr Parker added: "I will call them again.
