Emergency calls in South Cambs are now back in business after being down for almost three hours.
Members of the public were advised earlier today of issues with the 999 emergency phone-line in the south east area of Cambridgeshire, however it was later established this was a wider issue with BT that was affecting all telephone usage, not just to the emergency 999 number.
The force was notified of the issues by BT at about 11am this morning.
