Buses will replace trains between Royston and Cambridge all day on Easter Sunday.

Govia Thameslink, which runs the Great Northern line, said this was because Network Rail was improving safety at the Shepreth level crossing.

Great Northern will run an “enhanced Saturday service” on Good Friday and Easter Monday – a regular Saturday timetable, with extra trains at peak times.

Trains into London Moorgate will be diverted to King’s Cross on Saturday and Sunday because Network Rail is upgrading tracks.

A Great Northern spokesman said: “We wish all our passengers a happy Easter and advise them to check before they travel because of this important engineering work by Network Rail.”
