A woman in her 50s was assualted by a man in Duxford yesterday morning, and police have now appealed for information.
The victim was in stationary traffic at Duxford roundabout at around 9am when a man approached her car, spat at her through the open window and punched her in the face. She was left with minor injuries.
The man is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, of a stocky build with a tattoo on his right arm and blond hair. He was driving a small black car, possibly a Ford Fiesta.
Sgt Tom Rogers said: “The roundabout was very busy at the time and we are appealing for anyone that saw anything to contact us.”
