THE Duke of York flew into Crow Country last week to inspect the next generation of soldiers.
Prince Andrew took the salute at a passing out parade held at Bassingbourn barracks last Friday.
Over 100 soldiers marched past the prince to celebrate the completion of their phase one basic training.
A spokesman for the barracks explained: "The course combines vocational education and military training.

"Following the pass off parade the soldiers will enjoy some well-deserved leave before moving onto their phase two training," he said.
Medals were also presented to outstanding soldiers, with awards being given out for best recruit and best endeavour.
