A WOMAN had to be cut free from her car after it collided with a barrier on Wednesday morning.
The incident took place on the A505, near the Tesco roundabout, at about 7.45am.
No other vehicles were involved
Fire crews used cutting equipment to free the motorist, who was taken by ambulance to Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
She was said to have sustained minor injuries.
One lane of the A505 was temporarily closed, but was re-opened by 9.30am.
