Club celebrates 60 years

ONE of Royston’s longest-running societies has celebrated it’s 60th anniversary.

The Forget-me-not over-50s club celebrated the landmark occasion with a tea at the Royston Royal British Legion Club, where they hold their meetings.

Club president Ivy Mcilmurray was guest of honour as members enjoyed a slice of birthday cake.

The Forget-me-not club meets on Wednesdays and always welcomes new members. For more information contact Barbara Charter on 01763 231319.
