In a show of solidarity for the team searching for missing Royston author Helen Bailey, 25 dog walkers took to the Heath on Sunday to help spread awareness of the campaign to find her.
Helen, 51, disappeared on Monday, April 11 with her miniature daschund Boris and there has been no trace of the pair since.
Jay Nolan-Latchford, part of the team behind Facebook group ‘Where is Helen Bailey?’ said: “Helen’s partner Ian came to see us off and we handed out leaflets to all the other dog walkers as well as the families making use of the sports facilities at Royston Heath.
“The weather was kind and although the mood was a little sombre, we were so pleased to be walking in the sunshine, each reflecting on Helen and Boris and the small part we were playing in helping to raise awareness and supporting the ‘Where is Helen Bailey?’ campaign.”
Helen was often seen walking Boris around the town, and Jay told the Crow how it helped her settle in when she moved from London.
